Kuruvi brings together the Ghilli team of Vijay, Trisha, director Dharani and composer Vidyasagar. There is so much of expectation on Kuruvi because of Ghilli success. The film is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Local Administration Minister M.K. Stalin.
