•	The bone breaking - blood splattering violence, cheesey songs and punch dialogues are for the fanatics who idolise the stars. It so happens, that this lot makes the larger part of the audience. These people from lack of sophisticated upbringing or sheer lack of taste, prefer the superficial stories that light up the screen. Most often they do not have the patience to endure a film with substance. That sect of society, that can appreciate good movies, either have no time for cinema or opt to watch the pic in the luxury of their homes. Same as with social issues, this section of people are not as demostrative of the feelings as the pitlings. At the end of the day, movie making is a business, and the directors are forced to make movies that will bring home some dough!! There will always be exceptions - non-commercial flicks that make big money. But they will ALWAYS be exceptions [on the minority list]... posted by kayte on 6-Dec-2007 10:28:40 AM
